Are you frustrated with Material Requirement Planning (MRP)? Worried about not having control or a full overview of your inventory or planned stock movement? Material Planner is a brilliant alternative to MRP.

With one click, you will see a complete list of all your items and their status. From a single page, you can immediately see all the data needed to make accurate procurement and production decisions. The data gives you valuable insight into how much you sell, produce, have in stock and need for an item.

For each item you can see the:

• estimated availability

• inventory

• quantity on sales orders

• quantity on purchase orders

• safety stock

…and much more.

You can easily filter items, for example, by location, item number, item category, items that a specific vendor sells, projects or item group. You can create projects or groups yourself in Material Planner. By filtering your search, you will almost instantly receive results and see what you need to purchase. Material Planner will also highlight items that require your immediate attention.

Easily replenish your inventory

You can easily create either a purchase order or a production order for the items that need to be replenished using the valuable item availability insight provided by Material Planner without leaving the Material Planner overview page.

Material planner offers an analysis of how product availability will develop in the future. You can control whether forecast figures are to be included in the calculations. Replenishment can then be created using the date when the item is needed.

Material Planner will create forecast entries from the components from an item's bill of materials (production BOM) for each level.
